Spring is a very special time of year here in South Tyrol. While you can still enjoy the snow up in the ski areas, nature soon starts to burst into life down here. The apple blossom in South Tyrol transforms the land into an enchanting landscape of delicate pink and white. No other season in South Tyrol offers such intense scents and colours.

Autumn holidays in the mountains

Autumn is the classic hiking season in South Tyrol. From the Brentwaldhof you can reach many starting points for the most beautiful hiking areas in our region in no time at all.

Besides hiking, wine is the defining feature of autumn in South Tyrol. Wine festivals and Törggelen in all the wine villages bring the new wine and hearty snacks to the table. Time to try the specialities of South Tyrolean cuisine: sauerkraut and dumplings, Geselchtes (smoked meat), sausages and speck, or cold cuts with Kaminwurzen, ham and cheese.

Winter at the Brentwaldhof

Skiing holidays in Obereggen and Carezza

If you come to the farm for winter sports, the nearby ski areas of Obereggen and Carezza are at your disposal. Together they offer 90 km of slopes, two snow parks and several natural toboggan runs. There are also a number of children’s parks and ski schools for children.

In a total of 32 ski huts you can stop off for hearty food at any time, warm up and make the most of your winter holiday in the Eggental.
